What is JSIMA
The JSIMA is a group organized by makers, restorers, repairers of the stringed
musical instruments, together with the corporations in music & musical
instruments field in Japan. The instruments we specialize are violin, viola,
cello, viola da gamba, bow, classic guitar, flamenco guitar, baroque lute,
renaissance lute and mandolin.
The activity of the JSIMA consists of the exchanges of various information,
including the research in technical matters for further improvement of
the members' artistry. The Stringed Instrument Fair is held once a year by JSIMA to show the outcome of activities to the
public.
